Sensatronic Open Sessions – TouchBase Lanarkshire

Introducing our Sensatronic Lab Open Sessions for people with learning disabilities and communication support needs!

Come along and get involved in our experimental art, music and tech project at our various TouchBases across Scotland.

Sensatronic Lab is a unique project developed to enable people with additional support needs to make digital music. It presents participants with vital, tailored opportunities to express themselves, participate in music activities with others, and develop their own ideas and ways of communicating them through innovative multi-sensory creative experiences.

• Participants will explore a range of innovative digital music and arts activities through multi-sensory experiences towards performance and recordings

• Access to activities which develop young people’s sensory integration skills, and their ability to develop meaning of sound environments

• Enhance independence skills with young people, using music and technology to allow participants to enjoy a sense of agency and control within activities.

• Develops people’s abilities to share their instruments and new skills with peers towards social interaction in musical groupwork, collaborative performances and peer friendships
