This year, we’re partnering again with Big Give as part of our Safe to Grow, Supported to Shine campaign, which focuses on the role of our Learning and Development team, who provide staff with specialist skills and knowledge to support people with complex care and health needs to live their best lives.
What is Big Give?
Big Give is the UK’s leading online match-funding platform, matching your donation to double the difference you can make in support of charitable causes.
What is the Big Give Christmas Challenge?
The Big Give Christmas Challenge is the UK’s biggest collaborative fundraising campaign, championing a wide range of charitable organisations. You can find out more here – or watch the short video below.
How can I get involved?
By pledging to donate to Sense Scotland by 5pm on Friday, 28 August 2026, your donation could be doubled. For example, this means that by pledging to donate £200 now, you could help raise £400 for people with communication support needs and sensory disabilities.
You don’t need to pay anything now – at this point, we’re just looking for a promise.
How much can I pledge?
Pledges must be a minimum of £100. This year, we’re looking to secure £12,500 total in pledges.
When will the money be taken from my account?
We will contact you shortly after Tuesday, 8 December to arrange your payment.
What else should I know?
By pledging to donate funds as part of the Big Give Christmas Challenge, you are not able to donate to Sense Scotland online during 1 – 8 December 2026. This is part of the Big Give’s terms and conditions, which you can find here.
