Mecoco – our charitable enterprise working with people with complex needs to produce premium home fragrance products – recently began a new chapter.

After five years in an industrial unit in Dalry, Mecoco has a new home, having settled into a new workshop at Ayrshire College’s Kilwinning Campus.

What a difference a few home comforts can make: natural light, temperature control, more disabled parking spaces, and access to the college canteen all combine to make the space feel so much more like home – putting Mecoco right in the middle of a bustling college community, full of activity, warmth and new opportunities.

The team are also welcoming a few new volunteers on short-term placements to help them prepare for the Christmas rush. There are lots of candles to pour, wax melts to make, orders to post and festive goodies to get ready.

It’s a fresh start for Mecoco, and we’re very excited about what comes next.

If you’d like to visit Mecoco’s new home to browse Mecoco’s products and bring a treat or two home, the new address is:

📍 Mecoco, Room G11, Ground Floor, Ayrshire College, Kilwinning Campus, Lauchlan Way, Kilwinning, KA13 6DE

The workshop is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30am – 4:00pm and Fridays 9:30am – 1:00pm.
