Our commitment to the people we support

We are committed to providing a quality service to the people we support. As part of this, we offer placements to students undertaking relevant qualifications to work within the social care sector. In addition, we can consider placements for students undertaking qualifications relevant to other parts of the organisation. For example, the Learning and Development team have successfully supported students studying for a BA in Education and Social Services.

We aim to provide students with placement experiences which contribute to the successful completion of their studies and which provide examples of quality practice. 

Your placement at Sense Scotland

During your placement, you will be working with colleagues to provide support to people who use our services. They will support you to access relevant information to enable you to provide the best level of care and support, helping you to apply Sense Scotland’s principles and values.
