In March 2022, we celebrated our Ladies’ Lunch at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow – our first fundraising event in over two years. And we more than made up for the time we lost.

The day began with a reception in the foyer, followed by a speech by Angela Bonomy and the introduction of our host for the day – Mr. Edward Reid! Edward was absolutely brilliant, and had the guests laughing (and dancing) throughout. A number of fundraising activities took place, including heads and tails, a prize draw, and pledge – yielding some fantastic prizes for the lucky few, including a pair of Mappin & Webb diamond earrings and a trip to Prague.

Guests also had the opportunity to bid on a number of auction items – including a pair of paintings created by the people we support. An online auction was also available on the day, which allowed guests to bid on their phones throughout the event.

All in all, the event was a major success – raising a whopping £23,767!
