Martin Simpson “Pen Drawing 1” Greetings Card

Description

This is a print of “Pen Drawing 1” by Sense Scotland artist Martin Simpson. Greetings card complete with envelope.

Martin is an artist supported by Sense Scotland. He creates energetic, layered drawings through sweeping movements across large sheets of paper using pens attached to extended sticks. Working alongside our Arts Tutors, Martin responds instinctively to the music he loves, with favourite 80s tunes (Pet Shop Boys, Wet Wet Wet and Michael Bolton) shaping the rhythm and flow of his mark-making. Although Martin is blind, his artwork is full of movement, expression and connection, capturing the energy of both sound and gesture in every piece.

Card size: A5 (148 x 210 mm).
