SUMMARY:Learning Hub - Online Information Session
DESCRIPTION:This Online Information Session is for those who are interested in joining our Learning Hub\, and their parents and carers. Please book your free ticket via Eventbrite. \nIf you are the parent of a young person who is aged 18-21 with complex additional support needs and has left or is in the process of leaving school\, and you are based in the Glasgow City Council area\, your young person may be suitable for our Learning Hub. \nThe Learning Hub aims to: \n\nSupport young people to develop skills\, meet their long-term goals and gain qualifications\nPromote social inclusion\, peer support and friendship development\nFill an urgent gap in support for young people who might otherwise remain at home with a parent or carer\, impacting the family’s finances and wellbeing\nEnable young people to identify suitable services\, support and opportunities to meet their long-term needs\n\nThe session will include information on the Learning Hub and will end with a Q+A where you can ask your questions about the programme. It will last one hour and take place at 7:30pm on Tuesday\, 30 May\, and will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams.
