Our performance programme offers individual sessions for close 1-2-1 communication building, and also group sessions for those wishing to further develop communication, self-awareness, body awareness, and confidence within a group setting.
The sessions are a mixture of structure and improvisation, touch, sound and movement and use areas of the dramatic arts and dance methods to explore a variety of themes. Group activities offer a fun, safe environment to have a laugh and build friendships, but can also be used therapeutically to help people relate to more difficult areas of their lives, such as bereavement, oppression, frustration and fear.
Performance sessions have previously led to projects such as a Radio Group, and a performance group tour of the play ‘PARK’, which was conceived by service users and performed in Glasgow, Dundee and at the Edinburgh Fringe.
