Based in Kinning Park, Glasgow, TouchBase provides specialised services and support in a welcoming, safe and accessible environment, for disabled children and adults. It can be used as a drop-in service, a base for access to the wider community and a place for people to pursue their own interests. Support is tailored to meet people's needs through discussions with the person, families and carers. We also provide support with health care needs and personal care. The adults, young people and children who use our services can also participate in ASDAN qualifications. ASDAN offers programmes and qualifications that explicitly grow skills for learning, skills for employment and skills for life. Other opportunities include supported employment at TouchBase.
Arts:
Sense Scotland's arts programme provides a vibrant and creative environment for disabled people with communication support needs. With nearly 20 years experience in using the arts as a tool for communication and creative expression, we are a leading provider of accessible arts for disabled people.
Recreational and Social Activities:
All recreational and social activities are available in group or one to one sessions, through both an ongoing and time limited basis.
