Arts course 350x266With over 30 years' experience supporting deafblind and multi-sensory impaired people, Sense Scotland is expert at exploring and discovering communicative approaches that are unique to the individual.

Balancing current theory and practical examples, this one day course will give you the skills to approach communication with confidence and creativity.

Learning outcomes

  • Develop a broader understanding of Sense Scotland's communication strategies.
  • Take some practical ideas back to inform your own practice/place of work.
  • Understand the link between human communication and creativity.
  • Develop an understanding of the theories of communication used with people who have complex support needs.
