Sense Scotland secures Early Years funding

We're delighted to announce we've received an early Christmas gift in the form of £150k Scottish Government funding, for our Early Years Programme.

Early Years arts 250pixelsThe announcement was made by Aileen Campbell, the Minister for Children and Young People. She confirmed Sense Scotland will receive £150,000 to continue its work in 2016/17.

The funding comes from a £12m Government pot, to be shared among charities supporting children families and adult learning. Aileen Campbell said the money is aimed at 'tackling inequalities'.

Our Early Years programme

The funding will allow us to continue working with families across Scotland. This work is taken forward by by Gillian Nicolson (Early Years Advisor, West of Scotland), Gwen Auchterlonie (Early Years Advisor, East of Scotland) and Rachael Grant (Early Years Development Officer).
