People speak out against the cuts

Hardest Hit Scotland is a coalition of Scottish disability charities urging disabled people to contact their MPs and tell them how the cuts have affected them. The charities lead the Scottish arm of the Hardest Hit Week of Action, which saw thousands of disabled people making their voices heard across the UK.

The film features the personal stories of those who are hardest hit by the welfare reform. In their own words, contributors provide powerful testimonies of how their lives will be affected by the UK Government's cuts.

A parent's view

Jacqueline Thomson, whose daughter is supported by Sense Scotland and is disabled herself, spoke at the Hardest Hit Coalition fringe meeting at the Scottish Liberal Democrat annual conference 2012.
