Sense Scotland have set out practical guidelines on the Data Protection Act 1998. These indicate each individual staff member's responsibility in relation to the processing of personal data. We are dedicated to the prevention of unfair or unlawful processing of personal data by, for example, unauthorised retention, disclosure, modification or destruction of that personal data.

We are committed to protecting all personal data from unintended loss, destruction, damage, modification, disclosure or other security risk. We will process all personal data fairly and lawfully in accordance with current data protection legislation. We will not pass any personal data received onto third parties.
