Petition on behalf of the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland
As a charity we have benefited from the wisdom and grant awards from the Lloyds TSB Foundation for many years. Awards from the Foundation have supported arts, disadvantaged children, international work and our now acclaimed TouchBase centre. These have been fantastic innovative achievements that the Foundation and Sense Scotland have developed and I know this kind of work is replicated over the many other charities the Foundation has supported.
One of the things that is special about Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland is that its independence enables it to work for the benefit of the people of Scotland. The actions of Lloyds Banking Group have threatened both the Foundation’s independence and income and we must make a stand to protect its future. We are asking our friends to join us in supporting the Foundation by making a stand and signing the petition at www.savethefoundation.org
