‘Park’ theatre performance (open rehearsal and Q&A)

Date and Time:
Friday 28th August 2009 Start time: 2.30pm Followed by Q&A 3.30 – 4pm

Full Description

Sense Scotland and Dance Ihayami's performance group have developed a groundbreaking piece of theatre created and devised by the group of disabled performers. The show focuses on a day in the life of a park; the people who live there, the sensations of wet grass, of hot sun, the smell of flowers and of rubbish, the journeys that those who use this common space take. This is a chance to see an open rehearsal of this work in progress and to find out more about the theory behind a project of this nature. A panel compromising of the director, set designer and some of the actors will be happy to answer questions and show off the set following the rehearsal.
