pARTners exhibition in Duff House tearoom

A Sense Artist standing in front of some artwork

Sense Scotland art tutor Jemima Chillingworth has spent a period of 18 months in residency with us and now the work of people she supported and other artists, supported in sessions from across Scotland, can be seen at the new pARTners exhibition. The exhibition is showing in the Tearoom at Duff House in Banff from Thursday 8th November – Sunday 9th December.

The work incorporates a variety of mediums and some of the artists Jemima has been working with were residents in long-stay hospitals for many years, before they moved into their own homes to be supported to live independently.

"It's very exciting for the artists to be displaying their work at Duff House", explained Jemima. "They get a great sense of pride seeing their work shown in a new setting. I’m really looking forward to seeing the work of people from across Scotland, together at this exhibition."

Jemima's residency has been supported by Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City Councils and is part of Scottish Arts Council's pArtners residency scheme with Sense Scotland. Thanks to the National Galleries of Scotland and Duff House for hosting the exhibition.
