Exhibition sheds light on talent
'Northern Lights' at The Burrell Collection

Exhibition Flyer showing details of the event A group of people we support are showing work as part of a new exhibition called 'Northern Lights'. Running from 11th June to 29th June at Glasgow's Burrell Collection, the exhibition is the result of collaborative sessions with the our Wood-craft Tutor James Finlayson.

"We worked in one-to-one sessions, accessing a range of mediums based on the theme of light and colour in the North-West of Britain," explained James. "By exploring colour, light, heat and tactile response within the local environment the artists were able to produce colourful, functional lighting."

As well as a range of lamps created from wood and mixed media, the exhibition also features 'Love Colour', a giant illuminated heart, which recently won the Helen Keller International Award.
