New shop for Ayr

At 10.30am on Thursday 12th December the doors opened on a new charity shop in Ayr. The shop on 239 High Street will offer people the chance to hunt out bargains from Monday to Saturday. This will be the eleventh shop and its location in Ayr reflects the growing number of people who are using services in the area.

The manager of the shop, Wendy Hamilton is from Ayr and will be working with a new team of staff and volunteers. She said:

"It's great to be able to open a shop in Ayr, where people are well known for the generosity and kindness. We are always looking for donations and volunteers to help us and I hope that people enjoy visiting the new shop."

The shop opening hours are: 9.30am - 5pm Monday to Saturday

Charity shops can also be found in Alloa, Glasgow (Dumbarton Road, Parkhead, Cathcart Road, Easterhouse, Castlemilk) Bathgate, Coatbridge, Peebles and St Andrews.
