Sense Scotland presents 'Good Vibrations'

'Good Vibrations' - Friday 11th June 10am - 6pm:

Good Vibrations is a day of musical workshops and performances recognising our TouchBase venue in Glasgow, as a UNESCO Glasgow City of Music accessible venue and also celebrating 25 years of Sense Scotland.

At 3.30pm Fiona Hyslop, MSP, Minister for Culture and External Affairs unveils a plaque recognising TouchBase as a UNESCO Glasgow City of Music accessible venue. Disabled people and groups are welcome to come along and participate in this fantastic event.

Opportunities to watch or take part on the day include:

Performances by:

  • Members of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra
  • Lewis Scott Project
  • Sense Scotland/Paragon/Artform- Ensemble
  • Francis Murray Collective
  • Carnival Arts

Interactive Sessions:

  • Using New Sound Technology
  • Kinetic Music Workshop (Creating a Sensory junk Orchestra)
  • World Music Workshops

Music Workshops - For Children, Young People and Adults throughout the day.

Good Vibrations - A group music jam with Surprise Musical Guests.
