TouchBase, Sense Scotland’s unique resource base in Glasgow’s Kinning Park is taking part in the annual Doors Open Day festival, on Saturday 19th September from 10am to 4pm. TouchBase provides specialised services and support for disabled people and their families in a welcoming, safe and accessible environment. The resource also includes a fully accessible Business Centre where organisations can book meeting rooms and hold events.

TouchBase Manager Anne Marie McLaughlin said: “Although TouchBase is already widely used by the public and the families we support, the Doors Open Day will give people an all round flavour of everything the resource has to offer. The tours will show people the fully accessible services we provide for disabled people, as well as the fantastic Business Centre, which is already popular with organisations looking for efficient, friendly service, in a friendly and accessible environment.”
