Organised by Rita Rusk Events, this charity auction will feature some of Scotland's top artists and is a great opportunity for collectors to buy a significant piece of Scottish art. Housed in a marquee in the beautiful Blythswood Square Gardens, the auction will raise money for Sense Scotland.

Peter Howson who is contributing work to the auction said:

"It's great knowing that money raised from the auction will help Sense Scotland and I'm delighted to be involved in it."

"The auction will feature some of Scotland's best known artists and is a real chance to bid for some fabulous paintings, at the same time as contributing to such a worth while cause." said Rita Rusk.

Over 20 artworks will go under the hammer at the auction and collectors will be able to preview the works for sale from 1.00pm until the start of the auction at around 4.00pm. Some of those contributing work include Norman Kirkham, Norman Edgar, Peter Howson, Alexandra Gardner, Glen Scouller, George Devlin, Simon Laurie, Hamish McDonald, Alistair Thompson, Margaret Ann Bennett and Kim Scouller, alongside other top Scottish artists.

"We are absolutely thrilled by the hard work of Rita and her team in pulling this event together." added Gillian Morbey, Chief Executive of Sense Scotland, "The artists have contributed some wonderful pieces and I'm sure we will raise much needed funds to support the disabled children and adults we work with."
