Stained glass windows
- Timescale:
- Around 30 mins.
- Materials:
- Assorted coloured cellophane sheets (failing this different coloured crepe paper), black card, pencil, craft knife, glue, Blu-tac.
- Step 1:
- Draw out any Christmas shape on the black card e.g. an angel.
- Step 2:
- Using the craft knife and taking care, cut out the shape carefully. Turn the card over and smear the reverse of the card with the glue.
- Step 3:
- Rip or cut the coloured paper into strips and stick these anywhere at all ensuring that the shape is fully covered.
- Step 4:
- Wait until dry and then Blu-tac to a window. Alternatively, thread with wire and hang from tree, in doorways or outside.
- Handy hints:
- Make sure your materials are non-toxic.
- Don't leave children alone to do this activity.
- Take care with sharp objects.
