Volunteering for a Sense Scotland shop

Sense Scotland is always in need of generous people who can spare some of their time to help out in one of our shops.

Volunteers are responsible for carrying out general shop duties and can be offered a number of posts. Full training is provided and a qualified member of staff will always be present to lend their support or assistance.

If you feel that you could be a valuable member of our friendly team of volunteers then please contact your local shop for further details.

Tasks might include:

  • helping to sort donations
  • tagging and hanging clothing
  • steaming clothing
  • assisting customers
  • helping to tidy the shop
  • working on the cash register
  • creating window displays
  • replacing stock

If you can help or would like to discuss please contact your local shop.
