Arts and Wellbeing has initiated a new project using the arts to explore cultural awareness and inclusion for disabled people from black minority ethnic communities and the organisations enabling and supporting them.
With support from the Scottish Arts Council and Glasgow City Council, Sense Scotland arts tutors are working with artists from a range of arts organisations who support the needs of black minority ethnic communities in Greater Glasgow. The project will provide tailored arts sessions to enable participants to develop and explore cultural awareness and share practice to support the needs of black minority people with complex communication needs. A partnership of arts organisations are supporting the work and will support us to develop a legacy for the project.
