Arts in the park

Linking closely with Sense Scotland's outdoor activity programme, a programme of developing public art installations has begun in Pollok Country Park, in Glasgow. With support from and in partnership with Glasgow City Council, Land Services, Sense Scotland service-users have been collaborating with James Finlayson, woodwork and crafts tutor, to develop environmentally inspired works to exhibit in the park. The first sculpture has been installed in a wooded area adjacent to the riverside car park and more projects are soon to follow.
